logger automatically creates a Sitemap for every user whether in blogspot or custom domain. In other words, every Blogger blog already has a Sitemap by default. Curious of finding your blog's sitemap? Here's how.
Before anything else, let me give you a brief information on what a Sitemap is. According to
www.wikipedia.org:
"A site map (or sitemap) is a representation of the architecture of a web site. It can be either a document in any form used as a planning tool for web design, or a web page that lists the pages on a web site, typically organized in hierarchical fashion. This helps visitors and search engine bots [like Google's] find pages on the site."
How to find your blog's Sitemap?
- In your web browser's address bar, put the following:
http://your-blog-name.blogspot.com/robots.txt or
http://your-custom-domain.com/robots.txt
Don't forget to replace the texts in red with your blog's web address.http://your-custom-domain.com/robots.txt
- You will then see the address of your automated sitemap, usually:
http://your-blog-name.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated or
http://your-custom-domain.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated
You can visit those addresses yourself. The page is actually similar to an RSS Feed page.http://your-custom-domain.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated
